We seek someone who excels at Building Client Relationships, thrives in an environment of details and multi-tasking. To flourish in this role you must possess superior networking and relationship-building skills as interaction with potential and existing clients is critical for success.

The Client Contact position is responsible for generating business by proactively building new client relationships while maintaining our existing client base. Responsible for negotiating deals within established guidelines, fielding customer calls, providing quotes, sourcing equipment.

The right candidate will possess an understanding of Camera and Lighting Rental Equipment and/or Motion Picture and Television industry experience. This role requires 2 years’ experience in fields relevant to the motion pictures and camera rental. Previous Rental experience and familiarity with R2 rental software a plus.

This role encompasses the below responsibilities:

  • Generate business by proactively establishing new customer relationships while maintaining existing client base.
  • Take customer orders and negotiate packages within established guidelines.
  • Create quotes in system and ensure information is accurate.
  • Source equipment through branch transfers and sub-rentals or purchase if appropriate.
  • Create PO’s and work with the Purchasing department on requirements.
  • Identify additional client needs (Post, Lighting and Grip, Expendables, Transportation)
  • Communicate client requests and issues to Operations and Service.
  • Ensure paperwork (PO’s, M&D’s, etc.) is in order so that billing occurs in a timely manner.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in person, on the telephone and in writing
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Extremely motivated and able to maintain composure in stressful situations.
  • Strong negotiation skills and good business sense.
  • Able to work with a high degree of independent judgment.
  • Must be detail oriented, exhibit strong organizational skills and demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Fluent in Excel, Word, Power Point, order entry and CRM programs
  • Physical Requirements

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work seated at a desk for up to 3 hours at a time and to operate a keyboard. Requires walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds is required. Proper lifting techniques are required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

    Main areas of responsibilities for this full time role include:

  • Take rental and sales orders from initial phone call through completion insuring information in rental software is accurate and complete
  • Quote rental & sales orders under minimal supervision
  • Insure all credit collections and insurance requirements are met prior to releasing equipment.
  • Responsible for identifying, targeting and bringing in new business; rentals and sales
  • Visit new and existing clients; maintain and develop relationships with new and existing clientele

    Marketing Coordinator

    Summary

    ARRI Rental, the premier rental house for professional motion picture Camera and Lighting equipment, is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to work in our new Burbank office.

    The Marketing Coordinator, is primarily responsible for coordinating the marketing requirements for ARRI Rental North America working in conjunction with the Marketing Manager to ensure optimum marketing communication in all formats as well as an effective representation on production locations and at industry events. In addition, contributing to the ARRI Rental Group marketing teams both nationally and internationally.

    We seek a highly-motivated, strong communicator and multi-tasking skilled individual with 5+ years of related work experience (marketing, public relations field). Along with in-depth knowledge of national and international production activity as well as internet search engines and social networking sites.

    A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the introduction of new equipment and or services to the Liaise with the ARRI Rental Marketing Manager & ARRI Rental Group marketing departments
  • Contribute to the production and writing of new content, design & distribution of advertising & promotional material to include merchandising, print and web advertisements, tradeshow promotions, direct mailings, newsletters, social media and other lead generation/communication activities
  • Write news articles, press releases, website content and both internal and external newsletters covering all of ARRI Rental’s activities. Assist with maintenance of website.
  • Build and sustain relationships with local marketing partners (for example, the American Society of Cinematographers)
  • Plan & coordinate local promotional campaigns tradeshows and events
  • Work with managers and business units to determine budgets and manage expenses to that budget.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media management and analytics
  • Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing marketing data

  • Must possess detailed working knowledge of all Microsoft programs with special emphasis on Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint as well as Adobe Photoshop. Strong familiarity with social networking sites and Google Analytics.

    Camera and Lens Service Technician

    Summary

    The ARRI Rental Group a premier rental house for professional motion picture Camera and Lighting equipment is looking for a Camera and Lens Service Technician to work in our Los Angeles, CA office.

    The Camera and Lens Service Technician is responsible for the service and maintenance of professional digital motion picture cameras, lenses and accessories. This primarily includes the Alexa 65 camera but will include other ARRI cameras as needed. This role must ensure that the equipment is complete and serviced on time to meet customer demand. This person will work with ARRI Rental service departments worldwide to ensure our rental inventory is prepared to meet our client’s needs and ARRI Rental’s high standards.

    This role encompasses the below responsibilities:

  • Service, maintain and repair digital equipment, ensuring equipment is complete and meets operational performance and set-up specifications.
  • Service, maintain and repair spherical & anamorphic prime and zoom lenses, verifying its operational performance and set-up.
  • Service, maintain and repair accessory equipment, such as monitors, batteries and support equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and identify equipment issues, perform software and firmware updates and facilitate repairs within established guidelines.
  • Assist in preparation of equipment packages for rental.
  • Assist with equipment issues or malfunctioning inventory while on rental. Provide on-set support as needed.
  • Evaluate and QC new equipment.
  • Participate in demos and workshops as needed.
  • Provide training to customers and staff.
  • Experience/Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in servicing and repairing professional digital cameras, lenses and accessories.
  • Knowledge of spherical lenses required and anamorphic lens knowledge a plus.
  • Knowledge of 16mm & 35mm motion picture cameras, lenses and accessories a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Able to work with small hand tools and understand complex technical devices and their applications.
  • Able to utilize electronic and mechanical test equipment.
  • Must be computer literate and have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Driver’s license with clean record preferred.
  • Physical Requirements
